"I originally went to Sears to get my daughter's first portraits done and it was the worst. I didn't even get to look at all of the photos before the woman started deleting them. "We had not had a family picture taken for about 12 years. With my daughter away at college and my son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter in the Airforce and moving every few years, it was very difficult to plan a date to have a photo taken other than holidays. Most photographers would not consider working on a holiday, let alone around our granddaughter's (1 yr old) nap time. But my daughter had this wonderful friend who, as she told me, takes terrific pictures so I gave Erin a call. She drove to our hometown, on a holiday weekend, met us at our home, then we all went to a local park for some outside pictures. Erin made recommendations after talking with me regarding what we should wear that would fit our style and what we wanted in our family picture. Ole Mother Nature decided to cloud up and begin misting on us while we were taking pictures! I was sure the pictures would have to be redone, I didn't see any way Erin would be able to get any good shots. But when we saw the CD a few weeks later we couldn't believe it- there was not a bad picture on the whole CD! It took us forever to decide which pictures to print, there were so many beautiful choices. This bubbly little 6 month old is the apple in her parents' eyes and a little miracle baby. Adalynn's dad is a Kansas native from Wichita, and her mom is from the beautiful state of Washington. They met while working in Alaska and 8 years later, here came baby Adalynn! They had a couple of scares during pregnancy with her and ended up needing several untrasounds. But despite their fears and stress, Adalynn was born healthy and is growing by leaps and bounds. They are thrilled with parenthood and enjoying every new little trick she learns! What a fun little baby to photograph!
