Kevin and Lyndee

Lyndee and Kevin were the picture of happiness on their gorgeous fall wedding day.  They chose a quiet location next to a lake for their small, family-only ceremony.

The day started off with the bride and groom, their sons, and a few family members setting up the dressing room (a gazebo lined with shower curtains) and the seating (straw bales).
Once everyone had gone to get cleaned up, the bride, her son, and her sister came back to the lake site to get Lyndee into her dress.  This multi-tasking mom/bride got her 5 year-old son, Connor, dressed at the same time.
Once the groom and his 7 year-old son, Aiden, arrived it was time for the boys to get their ties on and to reveal the bride to the groom.

Connor walked his mommy down the grassy aile while Aiden stood with his Dad in wait.  Family photos ensued and the rest of the day was a blur of love, family, joy, and photos!

I hope you all enjoy the photos from this day as much as I enjoyed being there for the couple.  They are, after all, my beautiful sister and my new brother-in-law and their children!  Love you Lyndee, Kevin, Aiden, and Connor!

My Scoop

My photo
I am a homegrown Kansas girl who has toted a camera around since I could tie my shoes. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Emporia State University where I studied under the incredible Larry Schwarm (look him up, it's worth it!). My favorite things to photograph are portraits, children in their element, and the journey through maternity! But I will never shy away from weddings, engagements, or other events! The best part (next to my price) is that I shoot entirely on site, which means I come to you! Shoot me a note, I'd love to hear from you!
